Edit request

Would someone change "Contest" to "(condition)" in this template's code? Tiddlywinks (talk) 06:03, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I thought you said you'd found them all on the last template change :P --Spriteit (talk) 06:25, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
It was a conspiracy! You see, these last aren't actually showing up directly in "What links here", only the pages where they're used are. So the template namespace certainly seemed clear... (When I said it, though, I was only actually looking at Cool links...but that's also why I technically hedged my bets with "should be". =P ) Tiddlywinks (talk) 06:38, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
I'll make you a deal with you :P, I'll let that go, if you keep in mind Template: OBP. It'll make the links shorter for you, less typing, easier fix, just put in {{OBP|<name of page>|<whatevers in brackets>}} so for example {{OBP|Cool|condition}} will show as Cool. --Spriteit (talk) 06:51, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
You like OBP, do you? I must say, I don't actually. It's just a bit weird. And as a matter of fact it's not less typing: searching Contest and then just pasting "(condition)" over it is usually far easier, whereas OBP requires more varied typing/jumping around. And the templates I most like offer more savings than OBP does (for most of those Contest links anwyay).
...But that's mostly just me being pedantic. If it's something you felt compelled enough to ask (and very nicely, to boot), it's not a big enough deal for me to be stubborn about. Tiddlywinks (talk) 07:06, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
Just makes the page code cleaner whilst still preventing the redirect, and odds are if you don't fix it, someone else will anyway :P You don't have to use it if you don't want, just thought it might make your job easier is all. Your choice. --Spriteit (talk) 13:36, 18 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
