Template talk:Fan speculation

Shouldn't there be a corresponding template for articles which contain, but are not limited to, speculation? I saw this template on the Pokémon world in relation to the real world article, even though some details, such as Hoenn being based on Kyushu, have been confirmed by legitimate sources. I realize this template needs to stay the way it is, for articles on things like shippings which are genuinely composed only of fan speculation, but we need another template to fill its role on pages which do in fact, have at least some solid evidence. --AndyPKMN 16:45, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Change image to Fan Rotom or Pecharunt

Nobody seems to read Talk Pages anymore, especially ones for pages like these, but throwing it out anyway. I mean, Rotom a literal fan Pokémon. I assume Togepi is here because it was revealed in gen 1 so people would make stuff up about how to get it? By this logic Pecharunt should be here instead since people were speculating about it before it had either been officially announced in any form or even put into the game. Both seem pretty fitting. Oh if only there was a conspiracy theorist Pokémon to use instead. I would actually pick Elgyem for the whole "might be an alien" thing, which is equally fictional people speculating on its origin. Pecharunt would just become Togepi 2 in about 25 years, and Fan Rotom is funny but at the same time doesn't really reflect the concept. Salmancer (talk) 04:33, 5 September 2024 (UTC)

The Ultra Beasts are just that. Remember that one website by the Pokémon Daisuki Club that was mainly a Hex Maniac, Ruin Manic and some loser talking about Pokémon conspiracies? Yeah, there was a section about them there, and even without that they just fit. Nihilego would work great when it comes to choosing one.
