Despite the common use of turquoise to represent every transparent solid, like glass and diamond, Pokémon Crystal Version used a light shade of purple in its logo, in the game's title screen and in other mediums (for instance, a:File:Crystal.battleanimation.png).
Since the current color is not the one supposed to represent Pokémon Crystal, my suggestion is the following:
