Usage

{{OldTemplate}} should be used on a template source page, inside the <noinclude> tags.

It can also be used directly with the {{Documentation}} template. When using it this way (example below), the replacement instruction cannot be entered but it is expected that the documentation subpage will explain more about the replacement in the intro anyway.

Template fields

• 1: Optional. Name of the replacement template. Do not include the 'Template:' prefix.
• text: Optional. Complete override for the replacement instruction. Defaults to Use {{template|<1>}} instead.
• cat: Optional. Mainly intended to be left blank to suppress the category included by this this template. Defaults to [[Category:Archived templates]].

TemplateData

Denotes that a template has been archived.

Template parameters[Edit template data]

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.
