Template:Ndex/form/doc

This template should be preceded by {{ndex}} that uses a forms parameter, for example: {{ndex|019|Rattata|Normal|forms=2}}. If {{ndex}} is called with N as the value for the forms parameter, it should be followed by N-1 instances of this template.

Parameters:

• Unnamed (ordinal)
  • 1: the Pokémon's National Pokédex number (for example, "019" for Rattata)
  • 2: the Pokémon's species name ("Rattata")
  • 3: the form string that identifies the image of the desired form ("-Alola" for Alolan Rattata's art, a:File:019Rattata-Alola.png)
  • 4: the form name for the Pokémon as it appears in the Pokédex ("Alolan Form")
  • 5: the Pokémon's first type
  • 6 (optonal): the Pokémon's second type, if it has one
• Named
  • gen: dictates which menusprite image to use; options are...
    • 2, 3, 4, or 5 for {{MSP/3}}
    • 6 for {{MSP/6}}
    • 8 for {{MSP/8}}
    • PE for {{MSP/PE}}
    • BDSP for {{MSP/BDSP}}
    • Any other value (including if gen is not used) defaults to {{ArtP}}
