{{cast}} is to be used to list the voice cast of a work, alongside {{cast/h}}.

Template fields

  • field 1 (color scheme name) - Takes a color scheme name (not a hex code), which is then passed to {{colorschemelight}} to color the row.
    • The text on the colored background will usually display in black text, but if field 1 equals "SV", then it will display in white text instead.
  • field 2 (English character name) - The English name of the character. This will be converted into a link, so it should match a page of the same name to link to.
  • disp (optional field) - Override the display of the English character name, with a custom name. For instance, having the link go to "Ash's Pikachu", but displaying it as "Pikachu" instead.
  • field 3 (English voice actor name) - The English voice actor for the character. (This will be turned into a link.)
    • If the actor does not have their own Bulbapedia article, direct the link to List of English voice actors by formatting the input like this: 
      List of English voice actors{{!}}Firstname Lastname
    • If there is no English VA (for example, this work has not been dubbed yet), this needs to be set to "none" (case-sensitive) to prevent the link.
  • field 4 (Romanized Japanese character name) - The Japanese name of the character, in Romanized text. This will not be turned into a link.
    • If the "disp" field is being used in the English name column, make sure that column's custom name corresponds to the naming here.
  • field 5 (Romanized Japanese voice actor name) - The Japanese voice actor of the character, in Romanized text. (This will be turned into a link.)
    • If the actor does not have their own Bulbapedia article, direct the link to List of Japanese voice actors by formatting the input like this: 
      List of Japanese voice actors{{!}}Firstname Lastname
    • If the Japanese VA is the same as the English VA, this will not be turned into a link.
  • field 6 (Japanese character name) - The Japanese name of the character, in Japanese text.
  • field 7 (Japanese voice actor name) - The Japanese voice actor of the character, in Japanese text.
  • top (optional) - Set to "yes" if this is the first row, to round the top edges of this row. Defaults to "no".
  • bottom (optional) - Set to "yes" if this is the last row, to round the bottom edges of this row. Defaults to "no".
  • lang (optional) - The language code for the last two columns. Defaults to "ja".
