Template fields

unnamed parameters

• 1- First Pokémon's National Pokédex number. For the "main" image (the header one used on the Pokémon's species page), use a 4-digit format. For other (usually older) images, use a 3-digit format.
• 2 - First Pokémon's name, to allow linking to its species page.
• 3- Second Pokémon's National Pokédex number. For the "main" image (the header one used on the Pokémon's species page), use a 4-digit format. For other (usually older) images, use a 3-digit format.
• 4 - Second Pokémon's name.
• 5 - Optional. Evolution method.

named parameters

• form1 - Optional. First Pokémon's form signifier, with a -. For example, -Alola for Alolan Sandslash.
• form2 - Optional. Second Pokémon's form signifier.
  • For artwork that is not the "main" one, append an underscore (after the form, if it has one), and then a game abbreviation. For example, _RB for images from Red and Blue, or _BDSP for images from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
  • If unsure, check Category:Ken Sugimori Pokémon artwork on the archives for all valid file names. File names are usually in the format (natdex)(name)(form)(game).png.
