Wooper Learns Ice Punch even without arms.

Origin

I think that Wooper is actually based more on the larvae of the giant salamander than an axolotl.. those two animals actually look very similar, but the difference is that the larval giant salamander completes metamorphosis (as does wooper) while the axolotl remains neotenic it's entire life. (which wooper does not XD) If you're curious, a picture of a (albino) japanese larval giant salamander can be seen here ---> As for now, I am editing the main page to say that it is based off of a larval salamander, but not the axolotl in particular. --Saturnidae (talk) 05:16, 25 February 2014 (UTC) Oh and if anyone wants to edit it again to say it's an axolotl that's fine, because it could very well be both after all, but I think it's important to also mention it represents salamander larvae in general and in particular that of the giant salamander :) --Saturnidae (talk) 05:21, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
