ゆうぎじま

Are you sure that the ゆうぎ in ゆうぎじま was meant to mean Game (遊戯)? 友宜 friendship makes more sence to me, following the other island names. Is there kanji in the handbook? --Sanky 05:37, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Also, I think it's supposted to be しま, not じま. --Sanky 05:39, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
No, it's jima. [1] Besides, it's a pretty standard conjugation thing for "shima" to become "jima."—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 05:50, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Whichever one it is, right now, this island has じま while the other ones have しま... --Sanky 16:25, 4 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well, there's also Musubi-jima, Takō-jima, Motome-jima...besides, it's fine for some to be shima and for others to be jima. The change doesn't happen every single time.—Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 01:26, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Game (遊戯) should also be correct, because there is a game corner here, so perhaps this is a Japanese pun.--AYA202656 (talk) 14:54, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
