i can upload mp3s of the backing music for the D+P routes and towns, or will that break copyright laws? Maybe a 20 second clip or something? OrigamiGuy-T-C-M 11:49, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

That would bring legal issues since there is a soundtrack CD released. Even short clips might not be good for the server. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 12:46, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Additionally, as far as I know, the Archives doesn't support MP3-format sounds. Only OGG-format ones. --Shiningpikablu252 14:29, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll add a few clips later and we'll re what happens with the server. I can easily convert my files too .oggOrigamiGuy-T-C-M 16:19, 14 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
The upload page says to use .ogg files for sounds. but when i try to upload one, it says its not a permitted filetypeOrigamiGuy-T-C-M 15:34, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey how come the Rare Candy isnt included on the list of items found in this route?

Hidden Red Shard error

In Pokémon Platinum, in the area of Route 207 with the Rock Climb spot there is a hidden item, a Red Shard in the wall near where the player can find the Timer Ball. Many sites do not list the Red Shard as an item on this route, possibly due to a programming error related to it. It shares the script it activates when interacted with by the player (Script 8008) with a Red Shard in Wayward Cave, meaning that collecting either one also permanently removes the other one. Most people probably found the Red Shard in Wayward Cave first so this one became unobtainable on their save files as a result, which lead to it being rarely documented online. I found this information here and going through a Platinum decomp confirms this. Should this be added to the Route 207 Page or the Page of Gen IV Overworld Glitches? Also is this worth a mention on the page detailing permanently missable items? Bert122 (talk) 04:18, 19 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
