Will someone be creating the page for Shining Fates soon? We already have multiple official and confirmed cards known from TPC themselves. Thanks!

Reverse Halo Holofoil name

Why is the English name of the parallel holos in this set called "Reverse Halo Holofoil"? They're called "mirror" in Japanese (ミラー仕様), and they don't appear to be reverse holos, as the holos go onto the artwork itself. i've been trying to do research but i'm not finding much Mukario (talk) 22:20, 28 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

This is a name we have coined for this treatment as it is different to the traditional Mirror Holofoil (which is a plain reflective foil treatment) Japanese cards use on the occasion they are used. Mirror Holofoil can also be perceived as an umbrella term, much like Reverse Holofoil or Parallel Holofoil is used for cards released outside Asia. ~~nuva-kal 15:49, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
what i meant was more why is it called a reverse/mirror when the holofoil goes onto the artwork itself? i thought the definition of a reverse/mirror was when it doesn't go onto the artwork Mukario (talk) 17:41, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
You mean the Japanese version? the "mirror holo" are the Japanese version, and given that name because they look kinda like mirrors, idk. Mirror holo cards in Japan are special apperances, since they are only in special sets. I am not sure why they are called that, thought I am pretty sure "mirror holo" is a term from the Japanese boxes/website, don't quote me on that though.
