Theory about the Totem Pokémon

In Trivia, we read that this episode marks the first non-grand trial to not feature a Totem Pokémon.

So what if Jessie's Mimikyu was the Totem Pokémon? Acerola acknowledges his strength and the Mimikyu is used for Ash's trial, in the same place where the totem Mimikyu is battled in the video game. --Jahus (talk) 21:46, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

Jessie's Mimikyu is of a normal size and no ally Pokémon appeared alongside Mimikyu during the trial. For these reasons Mimikyu has not been classified as a Totem Pokémon.PardescanSlowbro (talk) 00:11, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
