Talk:Power Split (move)

Latest comment: 21 April by Lilycove in topic huge power?

Seems to be learned mostly by walls. Making the attacker even weaker and giving the wall a fair chance at offense. I thought it would be more of a teamwork move, i.e. learned by strong attackers. PLA 09:49, 25 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Contrary

Does Contrary have any effect on this? Mangaman13 (talk) 23:30, 25 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Of course not. It's already said on the page that the move ignores stat changes. By the way, you've been asking pretty obvious questions lately. You should read the article(s) involving the question well and think logically before you post a question.--Den Zen 23:41, 25 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Right, sorry. I'll do that.Mangaman13 (talk) 00:40, 26 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Changes to base stats

What happens when a pokémon that has partaken in a Power Split changes forms such that its base stats change, such as Zen Mode Darmanitan, or any Mega Evolving Pokémon? Do its stats entirely reset?--Tom0027 (talk) 01:21, 23 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Switching out?

Does switching out reset the stat changes of Power Split? Same for Guard Split?Incursor (talk) 06:20, 25 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Yes (for the party who switches out). Nescientist (talk) 12:18, 26 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

huge power?

this move doesn't take into account the effects of stat stages, but what about non-stage effects on stats, like huge power or choice band? lilycove 08:59, 21 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
