Talk:Pokémon hunter
Ah! Where did my page go! Did it get deleted? IIRC I had a page at "Pokémon Hunters" that now redirects to here... did I forgot what I named it or something? Did it get moved? Did it get deleted (if it did, that was fast, I figured there would be a week for discussion). Ah! What is going on here?!? --DakeDesu 03:29, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Your page was moved to "User:DakeDesu/Pokémon Hunters". Redirects to that page and its talk page were deleted after the page was moved, then Pokémon Hunters was redirected to Pokémon Hunter. --Shiningpikablu252 03:46, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Class?
Would this be considered a trainer class in a sense or not? ht14 12:58, 25 December 2008 (UTC)
New Issue
Pokémon Poacher. Pokémon Hunter. Merge? ht14 22:13, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Definitely not. The correct action is to find out the real differences between a poacher and a hunter, and edit the two articles accordingly. Having known poachers listed under hunters and a known hunter listed as a poacher is sure to cause confusion.
- However, if it should be determined that a merge is unavoidable, I say we have the merged article be under the hunter, since that appears to be the broader term. --Shiningpikablu252 17:09, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
French translation
The French translation of this term is listed as "Chasseuse de Pokémon". I note that "chasseuse" is a specifically female form of "chasseur" ("hunter"). Is that the listed translation because J is the most notable hunter, or (less likely) is "Chasseuse de Pokémon" used for male as well as female Pokémon hunters? B097 (talk) 21:12, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
- I note that the linked page Hunter (Trainer class) shows (in that page's different context) different gender-inflections being used in Italian and Spanish. B097 (talk) 21:22, 16 April 2025 (UTC)
