Talk:Pocket Monsters Film Comic

Title

The series' Japanese name, ポケットモンスター アニメ版, translates to "Pocket Monster Animation Version". None of the comics (at least that I or this page know about) are adaptions of the films, so it doesn't make much sense to call it "Pocket Monsters Film Comic".

Several of the comics from this series were translated to English and published as the book Pokémon TV Animation Comic - I Choose You!. Based on that title, I think "Pokémon TV Animation Comic" is the most sensible name for the series, as it's roughly an accurate translation of the Japanese name and its an official English name. --SnorlaxMonster 08:53, 26 March 2020 (UTC)

It turns out that "Pocket Monsters Film Comic" is the name the books themselves use. They quite consistently call themselves this in English. As a result, I'm retracting my suggestion to rename the page. --SnorlaxMonster 11:07, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
