I'm not sure how to add this, but under Trivia, I think it should be noted that the word "Lotic" means running or moving water. It's used in ecology to describe the upper, faster-moving portions of river habitat, as opposed to "Lentic," which refers to the slow, murky water at the mouth of the river. - unsigned comment from Elex (talk • contribs)
