Biggest Generational Buff
Unless I'm unaware otherwise, but I think Masquerain got the biggest buff base stat wise out of all other Pokémon, with it gaining +40 to its BST. --Mjmannella (talk) 02:56, 15 February 2018 (UTC)
Physiology
Given its similarity to both moths and damselflies, does anyone else think that Masquerain could draw inspiration from kalligrammatids [1]? In addition to lacewings superficially resembling damselflies (in fact, both were considered Neuroptera at one point [2]), these ancient lacewings also had eyespots. It doesn't seem like their larva were aquatic though, so I guess that aspect would draw more from the damselfly side of the spectrum. Icycatelf (talk) 16:25, 24 June 2019 (UTC)
