The statement about no items is wrong. I was able to find a Cheri berry laying on the ground just a little above the girl trainer near the Pokemon center. - Count Caterpie 21:49 11 October 2007 (UTC)

Zapdos

Shouldn't we move Zapdos onto the Power Plant page? that's where it is found, after all. I ask bacause there may have been a good reason for it. Any ideas? Samjohn95 10:49, 2 April 2010 (UTC)

Electabuzz

Was just wandering Route 10 while doing some work and found an Electabuzz in the grass above the PokéCenter! I've no idea how rare this is, and managed to catch it. I checked on the page and there's no record of Electabuzz being found here. I was not in the power plant, this was, as I said, the grass above the PokéCenter on Route 10. Pokémon Fire Red. Raticate level issues

I am currently playing pokemon crystal, and used a repel with a level 18 persian at the top of my party to try and get an electabuzz. I then encountered a raticate, which the wiki says is only in gold and silver. sorry to break the 10 year silence on this board haha.

Could you verify you indeed encountered Raticate on Route 10 in a (non-modified) version of Crystal, and what level it was? Because looking at the actual disassembly of the game, there should in fact only be level 15 Raticate here.

My guess is that the Repel just wore off, or that you accidently had someone other than the level 18 Persian lead your party. Could that be the case?

Was the level 18 Persian fainted? From the Repel page: "From Generation II to V, this applies to wild Pokémon with a lower level than the first non-fainted member of the party."

If your level 18 Persian has fainted and the next Pokemon was level 15, that is when Raticates would start appearing. ShadowMario3 (talk) 18:16, 9 March 2025 (UTC)

Scratch that, I realize my mistake haha, I had completely forgotten that the area above the poke center was still route 9, which does have a level 18 raticate. So sorry, but at least now I know why I cannot find an electabuzz anywhere! AshYe (talk) 21:15, 9 March 2025 (UTC)
