Team Rocket's nicknames

Question, has anyone tried to do a little research on the choice of names that Jessie, James and Meowth chose? I tried to take a look a little over the top and came up with a possible answer on this.

• Meowth chose Odekonosuke, that was kind of easy, Kōnosuke Matsushita was the founder of Panasonic.
• Jessie chose Nanago, in Japan there is a company that works with radio technology called Nagano.
• James chose Aotan, Aotan is literally blue strip of paper in Japanese. And in Japan, this is the name given to the night period in Taxis that charge a different amount after 22 o’clock (23 o’clock in metropolitan areas) to 5 o’clock next.
