Captain Pikachu spoke

There's a scene where Captain Pikachu supposedly speaks, the one where Lico is horrifiedly remembering Friede falling from the airship a year earlier, until Captain Pikachu shouts what seems to be "FURIDO...." in Japanese Or a PIKA shouting a scream.

I personally hear it just saying "Pika", but the enunciation of that Pika is certainly similar to "Freed/Furido". This is similar to how Ash's Pikachu distinctly calls Ash as "Pikapi", matching the syllables of "Satoshi".

So I wouldn't consider this as Cap speaking, but rather interesting trivia that Cap also has distinct patterns for referring to someone. → SuperPikaPool13 14:02, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
