On Bonsly's page, it says it learns this at level 1, but it doesn't say Bonsly can learn this move at all on this page. Mastergiygas11 21:04, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Plusle and Minun

These two Pokémon can now learn Fake Tears as an Egg Move, and can also be caught in OR/AS with Fake Tears as the Egg Move prior to when it would normally be learned. Can research be done as to who can breed the move with Plusle and Minun other than themselves? CycloneGU (talk) 07:54, 14 December 2014 (UTC)

Gen VI image pt 2

Is that not just the "stat lowered" animation from that generation? If so, shouldn't the image be removed since it isn't part of the animation for Fake Tears? --Xigzagoon (talk) 16:39, 25 February 2020 (UTC)

Gen VIII: Usage Against Dark Types

In doing tests in Pokemon Shield, I found Fake Tears seems to fail when used against Dark-type Pokemon; doing so produces an "It didn't affect enemy Pokemon..." message. Some testing may be required to see if this is the case in earlier generations, in other Gen VIII games, and in Gen IX, and we should note this detail on the move's page.
