actully, this move is affected by contray and simple, but the animation will stay play but it will say that the stats cant be higher/boosted. - unsigned comment from Proffesor kethup (talk • contribs)

You sure about this? I was actually curious about this exact issue for this move and Clangorous Soulblaze, since they're moves in their own right rather than Z-Power effects added on to an existing move. --Luigifan 16:28, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
