Stat boosting seems to function identically to Beast Boost

I heard a claim that Eelevate can only boost offensive stats, so I did some testing

A Mega Eelektross with no investment into Atk or SpA, max SpD and a Calm nature will receive a Special Defense boost when KOing a pokemon.(stat spread is 148 Atk, 155 SpA, and 156 SpD)

Then I lowered the SpD investment and used a memento Whimsicott to test for stat changes; a max Speed Mega Eelektross at -2 SpA and -3 Atk (due to an intimidate) still received a Special Attack boost upon KOing a pokemon. (stat spread after drops is 59 Atk, 77 SpA, and 145 Speed)

So just like Beast Boost, the highest non-HP stat (ignoring stat modifiers) is boosted on KOing a pokemon. Nanime (talk) 02:32, 19 June 2026 (UTC)
