Merge with Pokémon Detective Pikachu Movie Novel (or vice versa?)

As both articles' descriptions state, these are simply regional publications of the same novel, and belong on one page. Ideally we would use the POKÉMON Detective Pikachu Movie Novel as the article name, since that is the name of the American release. However, I'm not sure if it ever WAS released in the US (see the talk page). If it wasn't, then Detective Pikachu: Story of the Movie is the best article name. Is anyone able to check if the content of both books is the same? While I agree that based on the descriptions, these seem to be the same novel, thus they could be merged, but it would be easier if we had that extra confirmation. → SuperPikaPool13 14:14, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
