Pikachu as a Pichu?
During this episode, Ash doesn't ask if Marilyn if she thinks Pikachu is cute. This could mean that Pikachu had already evolved from a Pichu before Ash got it. Just food for thought.

- Pikachu is a Pikachu. Pokémon from Gen I don't get their pre evolutions added on, and that goes for all the other Pokémon. He is only a Pikachu. --Psyライダー☮ 19:02, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
