Call of Legends Series
Why is Call of Legends considered a separate series? To me it seems to just be a special end-of-series set for HeartGold and SoulSilver, featuring Pokémon that were featured previously. While It doesn't have the HS logo above the Call of Legends logo like the rest of the series, sets like Shining Legends and Dragon Majesty didn't either. Also if Pokemon.com lists it as HeartGold SoulSilver, thats a primary source and should be treated as accurate unless something major says otherwise. Travinking0927 (talk) 18:34, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
- It's an oddball set in a wierd limbo. It's the only special set really that ever released with booster boxes. The history is kinda as follows: Very early on when it was released it was considered its own series but by this standard so was Dragon Vault. The Pokémon website was updated to reflect it being as part of HeartGold & SoulSilver series around the release of Plasma Freeze. So it's kinda a weird limbo state. It is my strong opinion that we should reflect the official website but such a consideration was never made, but it feels even more pertinent now since we do consider Dragon Vault as a special set within the BW series, CoL is really a special set in HGSS (though such official documentation is lacking). 4iamking 18:58, 26 August 2025 (UTC)
