Smeargle (Japanese: ドーブル Doble ) is a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon card. It is one of the Wizards Black Star Promos .
Card text
Flip a coin. If heads, choose a type (other than
Colorless ) and put a
Coloring counter on the Defending Pokémon. That Pokémon is now the type you chose. If it already had a Coloring counter, remove the old one. If tails, this attack does nothing.

Once it becomes an adult, it has a tendency to let its comrades plant footprints on its back.

Release information This card was released as a Wizards Black Star Promo through the Pokémon League in March 2001. In Japan, it was available as an Unnumbered Promotional card and was included in Volume 7 of Pokémon Card Trainers magazine, released on July 1, 2000.
Trivia This Japanese print features the Crossing the Ruins... symbol, indicating that it is a promotional addition to the expansion.
The text on the bottom of the Japanese print's border reads: "Pokémon Card Official Magazine "Trainers Vol. 7" bonus card ." Origin This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Silver .
