Release information

This Tretta was awarded as a prize to participants of the Pokémon Tretta Ultimate Series 4 Battle Score Cup ~Primal Groudon and Palkia in Your Hands!~, held from October 17, 2015 for a limited time at participating stores. Entrants faced one of two set teams (called "Patterns") and were tasked to achieve the highest score possible by defeating opposing Pokémon and having party Pokémon still able to battle at the end of Battle Mode. With the end of the Hoopa Appearance~! cross-promotion, the faces of the Battle Score Cup became Tretta Leader Kent, Tretta Navigator Seamo, and Tretta Navi Girl Eririn, all of whom appear regularly in person at Tretta events. They each "use" one Pokémon in both Patterns.

Players achieving the top three scores at each event were awarded a certificate. All participants were awarded either this Tretta or a Palkia Tretta at random. The Battle Contest Simulator (Japanese: おためし! バトルスコアカップ Trial! Battle Score Cup) mode was made available on Tretta machines starting October 2, 2015 to allow players to practice for the event. The teams in each Pattern are detailed below.

Pattern 1
Mega Blastoise
Hydro Pump
Primal Groudon
Precipice Blades
Mega Charizard X
Dragon Rush
Pattern 2
Mega Venusaur
Leaf Storm
Palkia
Spacial Rend
Mega Charizard Y
Air Slash
