The book contains patterns for granny squares featuring Pikachu, all first partner Pokémon up through Generation IX, the Oran, Pecha, Sitrus, and Tamato berries, and the Poké, Great, Ultra, and Master Balls. In addition, the book provides patterns for six projects that make use of the granny squares.

Each pattern is written in US crochet terminology and is accompanied by an equivalent crochet chart. For the felt shapes used for detail in the patterns, templates are included on the page that the reader can trace from. A difficulty level from one to three is assigned to each pattern.
