Poké Times (Japanese: ポケモン情報局 Pokémon Information Bureau) is an official Japanese Pokémon Twitter account operating under the tag @poke_times. The account first began posting on April 24, 2018. The account posts news regarding in-game or real world Pokémon events and news related to merchandise, in addition to trivia, artwork, giveaways and gameplay footage.

Giveaways

Real-world

Poké Times will occasionally hold giveaways for real-life goods. These giveaways are typically unique pieces of merchandise created specifically for the campaign. All real-world giveaways were only available for Japanese residents. Some examples of items given away include:

• Nugget paperweights, originally sold at the Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu & Eevee Cafe, were given away to ten followers. The campaign ran from November 9 to 15, 2018.
• To celebrate Poké Times reaching 1 million followers, a replica of the Bicycle from Generation I was given away to one winner. The campaign ran from July 30, 2021 to August 3, 2021.
• Three plush toys from the Poké Plush merchandise line of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A first partner Pokémon, which came with unique accessories based on the black denim Striped Trilby, the white Striped Trilby, and the red Simple Round Satchel worn by Paxton and Harmony, were given away to 300 winners. The campaign ran from July 22, 2025 to October 16, 2025.
• To celebrate the 8th anniversary of Poké Times, a charm set featuring Combee and Vespiquen were given away to 88 winners. The campaign ran from April 24 to 28, 2026.

In-game events

Various Pokémon event distributions have been hosted by Poké Times. Unlike typical event distributions, these usually came in the form of wild-caught or bred Pokémon that were distributed through Link Trade or the GTS.
