Pikachu (Japanese: ピカチュウ Pikachu) is a Lightning-type Basic Pokémon card. It was first released as one of the XY-P Promotional cards.

Release information
Five different prints of this card have been made available. The first print, numbered 090/XY-P and with artwork by Hitoshi Ariga, was given to participants of Battle Festa 2014, held at five locations across Japan: ACT CITY Hamamatsu Exhibition Event Hall, Shizuoka on October 26, 2014; Sunshine City Bunka Kaikan, Tokyo on the weekend of November 1-2, 2014; Kumamoto City Distribution and Information Hall, Kumamoto on November 9, 2014; Intex Osaka, Osaka on November 16, 2014; and Dream Messe Miyagi, Sendai on November 24, 2014. The second print was given to participants of Battle Festa 2015. It is numbered 175/XY-P and features artwork by 5ban Graphics. Battle Festa 2015 was held at four locations across Japan: Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Exhibition Hall, Hiroshima on November 3, 2015; Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama on November 7, 2015; Intex Osaka, Osaka on November 15, 2015; and Nagoya Trade & Industry Center, Nagoya on November 29, 2015.
In addition to the standard second print, a version was produced with an Event Organizer logo stamped on the bottom right of the card, given as a reward to staff under the Event Organizer program which was introduced in the 2015 season. All XY-P Promotional prints have the Battle Festa logo of their respective years near the bottom left corner.
The fourth print was available to participants of Pokémon Card Festa 2017. Released during the Sun & Moon era, this print is numbered 061/SM-P and features artwork by Naoki Saito. Pokémon Card Festa 2017 was held at the Nagoya Trade & Industry Center, Nagoya on May 5, 2017; at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on May 20 and 21, 2017; and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on May 28, 2017. This print has the Pokémon Card Festa 2017 logo towards the bottom right corner of the card. A fifth print featuring the same artwork, but with the number 068/SM-P, was available to participants of the 2017 Okayama Champion's League, held at the Cooperative Okayama Prefecture Wholesale Center, Okayama on May 14, 2017, and again to participants of the 2017 Champion's League Final, held at the Sunshine City Convention Center in East Ikebukuro, Toshima, Tokyo on June 24, 2017. This print has the Champion's League logo in the same position as the logo on its SM-P Promotional counterpart.
