Plot

Munchlax, Buizel, and Illumise are practicing for the Pokémon Music Festival tomorrow, but Munchlax is having problems - they've become low on energy and hungry from how long they've been practicing, and the old drum they found is making strange noises. The two scold them and cause Munchlax to run off, ignoring their calls for them to come back. While heading home, they spot a group of Pokémon practicing their instruments at the lake, with a Ludicolo inviting them to join in - Munchlax's drum working perfectly this time. They thank everyone and head off, only to notice a cave with strange sounds coming from it - hitting their drum to give them courage before entering. Munchlax finds a group of Pokémon making music and despite finding them eerie, still joins in with their drum - only for a Mawile to notice the sound of the drum. She says that the drum is affected by its owners feelings, causing Munchlax to realize why it's been making the strange sounds and that it needs to apologize to its friends. The three meet up at the lake and apologize to each other - Buizel and Illumise apologizing for not realizing how hungry Munchlax was, and Munchlax apologizing for not telling them. The next day the concert happens and the three perform, it going great as Munchlax had remembered to eat before the show.
