Nidoking (Japanese: ニドキング Nidoking ) is a Grass-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It was first released as part of the Base Set .
Card text
Flip a
coin . If heads, this attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage; if tails, this attack does 30 damage and
Nidoking does 10 damage to itself.
The Defending Pokémon is now
Poisoned . It now takes 20 Poison damage instead of 10 after each player's turn
(even if it was already Poisoned) .

Uses its powerful tail in battle to smash, constrict, then break its prey's bones.
石のように固い皮膚と長く伸びた角が特徴。角には毒もあるので注意が必要だ。

This card was included in the Base Set , first released in the Japanese Expansion Pack . It was reprinted in the Base Set 2 expansion. It was reprinted again as a Non Holofoil print in the Japanese Pokémon Web set. It was reprinted once again in the Legendary Collection expansion.

Thrash and Toxic are both moves in the Pokémon games that Nidoking can learn, the latter via TM06 . The card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue , whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green .
