Trivia

The immersive card was originally due to feature artwork by SIE NANAHARA, and was included in internal game files prior to the release of the card on July 30, 2025. Shortly before the official release of the card, a statement was issued, confirming that "the card production team provided incorrect reference materials as official documents" for the creation of illustrations for Ho-Oh ex and Lugia ex; both affected cards were temporarily replaced with blank placeholder images.[1] Both new cards received updated artwork and immersive animations, once again by SIE NANAHARA, on August 8, 2025.[2]
