Jiggly Puff Music, Pikachu Music, and Diglett Music are music publishing imprints used by The Pokémon Company International to manage music copyrights associated with the Pokémon animated series. Each alias is used to administer publishing royalties from a different performing rights organization (PRO) in the United States.

As music publishers, these entities are responsible for the copyrights to the musical compositions themselves. The sound recording copyrights, on the other hand, have been managed by TPCi in partnership with various record labels.

History

According to John Loeffler, Jiggly Puff Music was originally owned by 4Kids, and Pikachu Music was originally owned by Pokémon USA, Inc., the predecessor of TPCi. The sheet music rights to the Pokémon animated series compositions were held by Cherry Lane Music Publishing, which had been Loeffler's co-publisher on previous projects for television shows.[1]

According to current Songview records, both Jiggly Puff Music and Pikachu Music are now owned by The Pokémon Company International. Cherry Lane was acquired by BMG Rights Management in 2010.[1]
