Release information
This card was included in the Obsidian Flames expansion, first released in the Japanese Darkness Houndoom ex Start Deck. In Japan, it was reprinted as an SV-P Promotional card as part of a collaboration with the NAKANO STYLING TANTO line of hair products. Eight original "NAKANO STYLING TANTO × Pokémon Card Game" branded hair products will be released on August 1, 2023; each purchase includes a promo pack which contains one of 8 possible pairs of Pokémon and Basic Energy cards. These cards feature the "NAKANO STYLING TANTO" logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.[1]

Bite is a move in the Pokémon games that Houndour can learn. Darkness Fang is an attack that first appeared on Umbreon ex from EX Unseen Forces. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
