Release information
This card was conceived as part of the CoroCoro × Pokémon Card Game Illustration & Move Name Contest, featured in the CoroCoro Comic January 2023 issue. Contest entrants could use the enclosed postcard to submit both an illustration of Grafaiai and a name of an attack, which would be used as inspiration for the card. Announced in the CoroCoro Comic July 2023 issue, the winning attack name was Poipopoison, and the winning illustration was recreated in a 3DCG style by aky CG Works.
This card was released as a SVP Black Star Promo and was available in the Grafaiai ex Box from April 5, 2024. A oversized version was also included in the box. In Japan, this card was released as a SV-P Promotional card and was first available as a prize for completing a stamp rally at malls hosting the Coro Tour 2023. The tour was held at six locations across Japan on July 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, and 27, 2023. Only children of junior high school age and below were eligible to participate in the stamp rally. For as long as stocks lasted, this print could also be obtained by exchanging a voucher included in the August 2023 issue of CoroCoro Comic at participating CoroCoro BASE stores from July 24, 2023 and at the Coro Tour 2023 venues the day after they were held.[1][2] The August 2023 issue of CoroCoro Comic was released together with a Shroodle promotional card on July 14, 2023.[3] The Japanese print was subsequently made available as an insert in the November 2023 issue of CoroCoro Comic, which was released on October 13, 2023.[4] The Japanese print features the CoroCoro Comic logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.
