Release information

In Japan, this card was available as a Mirror Holofoil SV-P Promotional card in copies of the Pokémon Center Fukuoka Special Box, which was released to commemorate the reopening of Pokémon Center Fukuoka following its move from the JR Hakata City mall to the Hakata Murui mall.

Initial orders for the Pokémon Center Fukuoka Special Box could only be made through the Pokémon Center Online and purchase slots were allocated by lottery. The application period was open between June 13 and 17, 2025 and results were announced on July 5, 2025. Applications were limited to one per person. Successful applicants then had between July 4 and 8, 2025 to complete their purchase. Successful purchases began to be shipped in late September 2025.

Origin

Renewal Open! is a reference to the reopening of Pokémon Center Fukuoka. The second attack in Japanese is tabe-aruku, a colloquialism that refers to the pastime of walking around and sampling food from different shops or stalls. Fukuoka is renowned for its culinary scene and its various gourmet festivals were an inspiration for the Pokémon Center Fukuoka Special Box illustration. The Pokémon Center Fukuoka logo at the time is also featured on the card. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
