This card was included in the English Rising Rivals expansion, first released in the Infernape Half Deck of the Japanese Infernape vs Gallade SP Deck Kit. A Cracked Ice Reverse Holofoil print of the English card was later released in the Value Box in November 2009.

Elite Four member Flint owns a level 55 Flareon in Pokémon Platinum. Tackle is a move in the Pokémon games that Flareon can learn. Fire Tail Slap is an attack that first appeared on Blaine's Charmander from Gym Challenge.
