Release information

This card was included in the Secret Wonders expansion with artwork by Masakazu Fukuda, first released in the Japanese Magmortar vs Electivire Deck Kit. A Holofoil DP-P Promotional version was available as part of the Trade Please DP event held at participating Pokémon Centers from November 4, 2007 for as long as stocks lasted. Visitors could trade any 1 Pokémon card (including International cards and Japanese cards with a classic reverse) with attendants for 1 of 3 promotional cards at random. Trainer cards and Energy cards were specifically excluded from the trade.

Thunder Shock and Thunder, the former being formatted on this card as Thundershock, are both moves in the Pokémon games that Electabuzz can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl.
