Draft:Unova Badges

In Unova, the Unova League's Gyms give out badges which can qualify Trainers for the right to challenge the Elite Four.

While Pokémon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 each have eight Gyms, they are not all the same Gyms. Between the events of Black and White and Black 2 and White 2, the Striaton Gym and Icirrus Gym close; in Black 2 and White 2, two new Gyms—Virbank Gym and Humilau Gym—are accessible, but it is uncertain whether they existed during the events of Pokémon Black and White since Virbank City and Humilau City were not in those games. This makes at least ten badges obtainable in Unova over that time period.

In some media outside of the games, it has been shown that there are more than ten badges and Gyms in Unova.
