Release information

This card was included in the Chaos Rising expansion, first released in the Japanese Ninja Spinner expansion, with artwork by Gemi. Holofoil versions with the Chaos Rising logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork were given away with eligible Pokémon Trading Card Game purchases of $15 or more at participating retailers in various countries, to commemorate the launch of the Chaos Rising expansion on May 22, 2026. Participating retailers include Best Buy in the United States, Mr Toys and Toymate in Australia, and JB Hi-Fi in New Zealand.[1]

In Taiwan and Hong Kong, this card is reprinted as a Traditional Chinese M-P Promotional card with new artwork by Souichirou Gunjima, and is released as a random reward from a promo card pack included in the "Ninja Spinner Value Set" booster box, released on March 27, 2026.[2] The Traditional Chinese M-P Promotional print is released internationally as an MEP Black Star Promotional card and was one of the Prerelease promos for Chaos Rising, available in the Chaos Rising Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing Prerelease Tournaments. The Chaos Rising print was also included as a Non-Holofoil card in the Perfect Order Build & Battle Box.
