Coles Builders: Pokémon Edition is a collection of 36 buildable Pokémon cardboard models distributed in Australia in 2024 as part of a limited-time campaign by Australian supermarket chain Coles. The promotion ran from February 7, 2024 to March 26, 2024 (or until stocks lasted).

Campaign

The campaign ran from February 7, 2024 to March 26, 2024. For every $30 spent in one transaction at Coles, customers could earn one Pokémon Builder. Bonus Builders could be obtained by purchasing specially-marked products from participating brands.

There are 35 Builders listed on the official checklist and in other promotional material. There is also a rare Mew and Mewtwo Builder that is not included on official checklists.[1]

Each Builder comes in a flatpack inside a yellow packet. The packets are designed so that it is unknown which Builder is inside until it is opened. Every pack also includes a small paper slip with assembly instructions on one side, and a QR Code linking to a series of videos providing assembly instructions on the opposite side. The assembly instructions are always depict the Pikachu Builder regardless of which Builder they are packaged with.

Additional merchandise

Customers could purchase a collector case to store their Pokémon Builders. Customers could also purchase a build-your-own Pokémon playset, which included a Pikachu Builder and Squirtle Builder.

Additional Pokémon merchandise was also available for purchase during the time of the promotion.

Assembly

Each Builder flatpack includes three or four components (the front, back, and one or two middle pieces) and three clips. The three components are all connected parallel to each other, with the clips being inserted perpendicular to the components.
