Trivia

• Each of the Pokémon-ex in EX Ruby & Sapphire seem to be based on popular cards from pre-EX-series sets. This card in particular appears to be based on Base Set Chansey, with its similar HP and Double-Edge attack. Incidentally, that card would also form the basis of the Chansey in Mysterious Treasures.
• Also, of the eight Pokémon ex in EX Ruby & Sapphire, this and Scyther ex are the only two who weren't considered to be final evolutions as of Generation III. As such, these Pokémon's evolved forms were later also made into Pokémon ex, capable of evolving from these cards - Blissey ex and Scizor ex, respectively.
