Release information

This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art card, and as a Secret Rainbow Rare in the Crimson Invasion expansion, first released in the Japanese Awakened Heroes expansion, each with artwork by 5ban Graphics. The Regular print was reprinted as a SM Black Star Promo, made available as one of two promotional cards in the Ultra Beasts GX Premium Collection—Buzzwole & Xurkitree. A Jumbo version was also included in the collection. This print was subsequently available in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset. A Shiny version of the Full Art print was included in the Hidden Fates expansion, which was also included in the GX Ultra Shiny subset.

Jet Punch is a move later introduced in the Generation IX Pokémon games that Buzzwole cannot learn.

This card's GX Attack is named after Buzzwole's code name, UB-02 Absorption. The Hidden Fates print features the Shiny version of Buzzwole.
