It's starting to annoy me
The Manual of Style says to use Hepburn (with macrons), the admins say not to use Hepburn. What the hell is going on? Which Romanization should we use? What we are using now is some unruly mix of Hepburn and Kunrei-Siki. This is not a standard scheme. What should be our standard, then? And I don't understand that recent problem with macrons.
