Bulbapedia talk:April Fools' Day 2026/Human (not Pokémon)

Latest comment: 7 April by Gupdoo3 in topic Friend... ship?

Some of my own memories of the humans!

While i may be no guru, i'm certainly quite the artist myself! I remember helping illustrate some "Supporter cards" a long time ago. Perhaps that would be better suited for our TCG section?

I also recall that humans could learn a variety of moves by special tutors! Karate Chop, Sing, Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom... though, even my previous partner, who had mastered the art of Sketch, was seemingly unable to copy Revival Blessing from my good friend Pawmot. Have i mentioned them somewhere before?...

And finally, i do believe your base stats may be incorrect! If i recall, humans typically have 100 HP, although certain items can increase it to a maximum of 250. Surely these items must have been some sort of magical item, no? It would be utterly ridiculous if they were something as humble as plush dolls! I know more about the humans

A Human would normally have Talent, Existenal crisis or Psychopathy (HA), but Talent can change into a different ability and the ability depends on the Human.

Cry and Defeciate would be more of a status move that will poison the user itself and if poisoned, it will poison itself faster to Faint. An upgraded version of it would be Poop Shot, a physical move which can be learned at Level 8, but instead of poisoning itself, the user uses this move to do damage to the target and maybe posion it.

Bite can be learned at Level 4, Talk should be a Normal-Type move that does some things, Walk should be like Splash, Back ache would just decrease the user's Speed and Defense, Scare would be learned at Level 6, where the user does a spooky face, and Gross-Out that can be learned at Lv. 8, where the user does something gross

Lick, spit and Sweet Kiss can be learned at Level 5, Repair and Fix can be learned via TM, and Experiment, Surgery and Medical Asistance can be learned via TM too. Sina189 (talk) 06:14, 1 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Human leveling is truly counter-intuitive...

I do seem to remember an oddity about these creatures: They could increase their level beyond 100. Despite not being able to gain experience, they used to gain one level each year (as mentioned on the, uh... what was it called again? Ah, right, art-Tickle). While, of course, taking a very long time, they could theoretically attain levels 101 and higher. This is highly uncommon, however, as Human have another striking difference from Pokémon when it comes to levels: When they level up, their stats usually increase until a certain level (pardon my memory, I do not remember which level), where they peak and begin dropping; and when they reach this point, the lower their stats, the lower the chance they will reach the next level. Theoretically, they do not seem to have a level cap, unlike the Pokémon found within the Hyperspace Lumiose dimension, which can go beyond level 100, but not level 200; however this has yet to be seen in an individual, as the Human with the highest level documented was only level 122. I believe they also begin at level 0 rather than level 1. I wonder what their stats would have looked like at that point.

Oh, and Human celebrated gaining a level every single time they leveled up, rather than celebrating it upon reaching an evolution requirement. This makes sense, I guess, as they have to wait an entire year for even one level, and making it that far in their lives with such fragile, tiny and weak bodies.

Also, leaving a Human at the daycare and biking up and down for hours and hours on end or force-feeding them random candies found on the ground does not in fact speed up their leveling, or give them any levels outside of the yearly level. Believe me, I've tried.

Human are quite odd. --FumingGuitar (talk) 13:59, 1 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Friend... ship?

Hello? I've found my trainer's Rotom "phone", whatever that word means, down here in Area Zero, and have somehow stumbled here. Alas, before I continue my search for them, I thought I might as well contribute my grain of bread.

Some humans (or, at the very least, mine) seem to be overly obsessed with cleanliness. You know how humans sometimes give showers to their Pokémon whilst in a picnic? Well, mine seemed to really like doing that. A ton. How much, you ask? Sometimes I would come out of my Pokéball to share a sandwich with the rest of his protection partners, and he would give us all a shower. No big deal, this usually happens after a fight, so some of us do get a bit dirty. However, the very next time I'd be sent out, we'd do the exact same thing, even though we've done literally nothing since. No battles, no walking, nothing that could have given us even a stain in between picnics, and yet he does it anyways. I don't mind keeping my armor clean, and I did like him a lot anyways, but it just seemed a bit... excessive.

Also, I once overheard that a friend of his in Loomenalia-whatever would often go to cafes with his Pokémon, order his tea, and when it arrived, he would just stare. Not even at his tea, just at his Pokémon or far off into the distance. Sometimes it would be short, other times he would apparently take up to 5 good minutes before taking a single sip of his drink. Sounds really weird, but I think they... liked it? I'm not really sure.

Anyways, I'll be back on my search here in Paldea. At least I'm not completely alone, since I still have Valkyrie with me.

...and Manzana, Pascua, Sitrus, Windstrafe, Silk, Sharpie, Paige, that Galarian snake and the time-traveling Scizor and weird "Sneasler" thing. He made a lot of friends in his journeys, didn't he? CorviKnight0648 (talk) 19:28, 1 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

I've heard the reason some humans are like that is because they want to show affection but aren't sure how else to do it. So if a human gives you a lot of showers that means they like spending time with you!! Gupdoo3 (talk) 02:33, 2 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
I guess I hadn't really thought of it like that.
Still wonder what was up with that Lumineonala guy though. CorviKnight0648 (talk) 13:16, 2 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Maybe he was just lost in thought... Gupdoo3 (talk) 22:06, 7 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
