This card was included in the Fusion Strike expansion with artwork by Sumiyoshi Kizuki, first released in the Japanese Blue Sky Stream expansion. It was reprinted in the special Crown Zenith expansion with different artwork by Nagomi Nijo. In Japan, this print was one of seven S-P Promotional cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 7, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from September 2021. The Japanese print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo.
Based on the release schedules of previous Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Packs, it is likely the Japanese S-P Promotional print would have been available alongside the dual Skyscraping Perfection and Blue Sky Stream expansion on July 9, 2021. However, due to the delay of Promo Card Packs 5 and 6 amid COVID-19 restrictions, Promo Card Pack 7 did not become available until September. As a result, this card was officially released first in Taiwan and Hong Kong as a Traditional Chinese-language S-P Promotional card in early August 2021.
This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.
