Akina Takaya (Japanese: 髙屋亜希那) is a Japanese musical artist born on February 13 1977. She performed Battle Frontier for Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire alongside the song’s appearance in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. Takaya’s non-Pokémon works include music for Cinderella Boy and Suite PreCure.

Biography

Takaya's interest in music began as a first year high school student when her friend asked her to sing in front of people for the first time. Takaya moved to Tokyo in 2000 where she studied at a music college. In her second year, she began singing and helping at live performances for music associated with the Avex group. Takaya's musical activities include recording and performing in a chorus, vocal direction and voice training.
