Release information

This card was included in the Paldea Evolved expansion with artwork by Ryuta Fuse, first released in the Japanese Snow Hazard expansion. It was reprinted in the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset alongside a new print with artwork by Hitoshi Ariga, which features the Shiny version of Abomasnow. This Shiny print was later released outside Asia in the special Paldean Fates expansion.

Rulings

• For the "Freezing Disaster" Ability:
  • Abomasnow's "Freezing Disaster" Ability does not prevent attacks, Abilities, or other effects that move damage counters (eg. Munkidori's "Adrena-Brain" Ability), as they are not technically considered "healing".
  • Whenever the "Freezing Disaster" Ability is active, both players are allowed to play cards that heal damage (eg. Potion, Poké Vital A, Medical Energy); however, as the healing is prevented, the cards are simply used to no effect.

Magnum Punch is an attack that first appeared on Rocket's Hitmonchan from Gym Heroes. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
